We spent the past couple days in Te Anau getting our paddle on...and searching for the infamous yellow faced penguin. |
|
Happy to report, we got our first non-walking and non-gravity related sport in yesterday. We took a scenic bus\boat ride to our kayaks located in doubtful sound. It is a good thing we planned a water sport, as it rained pretty much all day. Doubtful is more of a rain forest than what we had expected. There were waterfalls everywhere. One of these days we will load some pictures to show you, but until then, just imagine a really big faucet. After 18 k (?) of paddling, the penguin managed to elude us one more time. We are back in Queenstown to relax a bit before heading up to the glacier. |

This is the best way to check timezones. It is 12:06 at the internet cafe in Queenstown, NZ right now. |

Hi guys! It's nice to hear that you had a chance to ride in something. Can't wait to see your pics. Kiss a penguin for me. Today was Joey's b-day and we missed you..I'm stuffed with Pizza Hut and Cold Stone ice cream cake...yum. Enjoy your shrimp on the barbee.
Love you....jean |
