Amuse bouche

A small appetizer before dinner, compliments of the chef. These are empandas filled with cheese and sprinkled with sugar. You'd think the sugar would be weird with something savory but it was delicious. Also, notice that the aji sauce was served in a hollowed out tree tomato ( a type of tomato that grows on - you guessed it - a tree).
